KOZHIKODE: Four Non-resident Keralites (NRKs) with suspected symptoms of Covid-19 have been admitted to the
Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital
(
KGMCH
) isolation ward on Tuesday. Out of the four, three persons hail from Kozhikode and one from Palakkad. They were admitted after their body temperature was found high, at the Aerobridge at Karipur airport.
Apart from this, a Kozhikode native and two Kannur natives were also admitted to the Kozhikode Government Medical College hospital on showing uneasiness at the airport.
All the six of them were part of the 184 expatriates group including 68 women and 116 men who reached Karipur airport under the
Vande Bharat Mission
on May 12 . Out of this, 68 of them are from Kozhikode district. The expats arrived from Bahrain on Air India Express flight 0474 landed at Karipur Airport on 12.40 am on May 12. Thirty-eight NRKs from Kozhikode district have been shifted to the district administrations COVID 19 care centres and 26 persons are kept under home quarantine.
