KOZHIKODE: Kozhikode district became zero
Covid-19 district
with the discharge of three persons on the day after they tested negative for coronavirus. With this, out of the 24
Covid-19 positive cases
reported in Kozhikode district so far, all of them recovered from the disease.
The
Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital
(KGMCH) authorities on the day discharged 31-year-old health worker hailing from Kodancheri, 23- year- old house surgeon of Kozhikode Government Medical College hailing from
Vadakara
and 67 -year old migrant man, hailing from Tamil Nadu who stayed at a Covid-19 Care centre in Kozhikode. The hospital authorities on the day also discharged a house surgeon of Kozhikode Government medical college hailing from Kannur.
The district also reported no new cases on the 11th consecutive day. The health department on the day removed 70 persons from the list of home quarantine following completion of their quarantine period. With this total number of persons who have completed home isolation rose to 22,465 in Kozhikode. At present, a total of 1029 persons kept under observation. Out of this, 30 of them admitted to the isolation wards of the Kozhikode Government Medical College hospital.
The district health department had sent a total of 103 swab samples for testing on the day. Out of the 2015 samples tested so far, 1867 results were obtained and 1833 of them tested negative for Covid-19.
