KOZHIKODE: The
Nadakavu police
have registered a case against unidentified assailants in connection with the attack on CPM district office and CPM district secretary.
The police have charged the accused under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and under various other sections for unlawful assembly and attack on the office using explosive substances.
Two steel bombs were hurled at the CPM district committee office, here, on Thursday night. CPM district secretary

was present in the office at the time of the incident.
The police seized an un-exploded steel bomb from the compound.
The CPM had called for a dawn to dusk hartal in the district following the incident.
