Aashi Shamshery clinches girl’s title

Lucknow: Aashi Shamshery delivered a scintillating performance to win the girls' title in the 22nd Eldeco Cup AITA U-16 Tennis Tournament, brushing aside Aairash's challenge 6-1, 6-2 at La Martiniere courts on Thursday. In the boys' doubles event, the pair of Sanidhya and Kaustubh defeated Rohin and Arjun 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the title. Interestingly, Sanidhya and Kaustubh will now face each other in the singles final, having defeated Ayaan Yadav and Rohin Raj, respectively, in the semi-finals.
