Aparna Yadav’s Ram Bhajans enthrall all
Lucknow: The grand cultural programmes at Maha Kumbh concluded on Monday with mesmerizing performances at the Ganga Pandal in Prayagraj. Organised under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, and Uttar Pradesh's department of culture, the event featured renowned artists from across India and abroad.The evening began with BJP functionary Aparna Yadav captivating the audience with her soulful bhajans. She started with a devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Ram followed by a stirring rendition of "Shiv Kailasho Ke Vasi". Her heartfelt performance of "Jai Jai Hey Bhagwan, Jai Jai Hey Prabhu Ram" left the entire pandal reverberating with chants of "Jai Shri Ram".Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, a disciple of Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh and a Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee, enthralled the audience with a traditional tabla recital. His performances in Teentaal and Keharwa taal, accompanied by sarangi, showcased the finesse of Indian classical rhythm.The evening concluded with an expressive Bharatanatyam dance-drama by Sucheta Bhide Chapekar, depicting Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati's divine emotions.
