Bail plea of Levana boss rejected

Lucknow: District Judge SS Pandey on Wednesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Pawan Agrawal, director of Levana Suites, in connection with a criminal case lodged in the matter. In the fire incident in Levana Suites, four persons were charred to death and several injured . Passing the order, the judge commented upon the investigating officer who has till now failed to fix responsibility of the government officers who had shut their eyes in giving NOCs to the hotel, resulting into the fire mishap.SI Daya Shanker Dwivedi had lodged an FIR in the matter with the Hazratganj police station on September 5. It was argued on behalf of the prosecution that the hotel was being run without proper fire safety measures.
