LUCKNOW: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday searched 15 locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, including the residence and offices of businessman Raj Kundra, husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, in connection with a money laundering probe linked to a pornography network.

The raids extended to Kanpur, Kushinagar, and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, targeting Kundra’s associates. Kundra was arrested in 2021 for allegedly producing adult content and spent two months in jail before being granted bail.

The case originated from the Mumbai Police’s 2021 bust of a pornography racket, which led to multiple arrests. Investigations revealed that Kundra’s app, HotShots, hosted explicit content. He was arrested in June 2021 on charges of allegedly producing pornographic films and was later granted bail in September 2021, after spending two months in jail.

A search operation was conducted subsequently, and officials said adult content was found on the seized servers.
