Family announces ₹2.51 lakh reward for tracing missing elderly woman
Lucknow: The family of a 71-year-old woman, who went missing under mysterious circumstances from the Ahimamau area in Lucknow, has announced a reward of Rs 2.51 lakh for anyone who helps trace her safely.
The missing woman has been identified as Lalli Yadav, a resident of the Ahimamau area under Sushant Golf City police station.
According to family members, Lalli Yadav left home around 6 pm on April 30 and never returned. Relatives suspect that she may have lost her way due to disorientation.
Family members said she was last seen around 11 pm the same night near Fauji Dhaba on the Shaheed Path service lane in Ahimamau.
The family has circulated appeals on social media and among local residents requesting help in tracing the elderly woman. They have also announced a cash reward of Rs 2.51 lakh for anyone providing information leading to her safe recovery.
According to the description shared by relatives, the missing woman is around five feet tall, fair-complexioned and was wearing a red saree when she disappeared. Her hair is white, and the names “Lalli” and “Rampyari” are tattooed on her right hand, which could help in identifying her.
Police officials said a missing person report has been registered and search efforts are under way. Family members have appealed to the public to immediately inform police or relatives if they spot the woman anywhere in or around Lucknow.
