Higher education dept transfers 91 professors via digital portal

Lucknow: Higher education department on Friday completed the transfer process of 91 professors serving in govt colleges through an online transfer process.

The online process, said higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyay, has eliminated the possibility of human intervention, thereby providing eligible teachers with a fair opportunity based on established rules and merit.

Applications received for transfers were scrutinised in accordance with prescribed standards, and eligible applications were approved through a digital portal. As soon as the software-based process was completed, the concerned teachers were notified of their transfers via SMS, ensuring that the entire procedure was executed in a transparent and time-bound manner.

“The govt is committed to safeguard the interests of teachers while simultaneously ensuring complete transparency in administrative processes,” he said.
