Gautam, lodged a complaint against the four, alleging that her father committed suicide because of harassment by them.

She alleged in her complaint that the four accused,

Gangaram, Santram

,

Veerpal

and

Saurabh

, had framed her brother in a fake rape case and were demanding Rs 10 lakh from her father for settlement.

She alleged that her brother was arrested and sent to jail on the complaint of Gangaram a few days back.

“At around 10pm on Tuesday,

Gangaram

, Santram, Veerpal and Saurabh came to meet my father Khemai Gautam and offered to settle the case,” Madhu alleged.

Gangaram demanded Rs 10 lakh for compromise and withdrawing the case, but Khemai was poor and did not have the money, she further said in her complaint.

“My father did not return in the night. On Wednesday, we found him hanging from a tree with a rope tied around his neck,” she said.
