Operational for public use
The flyovers, which is already open to vehicles but has not been formally inaugurated, will benefit over 7 lakh commuters.
Sitapur-Ayodhya in 20 mins
It will reduce the travel time from Sitapur Road Highway to Ayodhya Road Highway to just 20 minutes.
Bow-arch flyover design
Designed with a bow-shaped arch, the flyover will also help reduce congestion in Khurramnagar, Jankipuram, Vikasnagar, Sector 25, and Bandha Road
Key junctions connection
The flyover will also improve connectivity to key routes like Polytechnic flyover, Munshi Pullia, Engineering College flyover, and IIM Road flyover.
Construction began March 23, 2022
Construction began on March 23, 2022, with Rs 180 crore budget, but a 900-meter extension to connect Jagrani Hospital and Vikasnagar Mini Stadium raised the cost to Rs 267 crore.
Four-lane flyover
The Munshipulia flyover, spanning 1,860 metres, was constructed at a cost of nearly Rs 170 crore and has four lanes.
Reflectors for safety
PWD has installed streetlights, view cutters, and reflectors to enhance safety.
