‘My bro & I are politicians’

Lucknow: Atiq Ahmed’s younger brother and gangster-turned-politician Khalid Azim alias Ashraf was also brought from Bareilly jail to the Naini Central Jail in Prayagraj on Monday evening. He was halted once in Shahjahanpur and then in Lucknow. During a brief break in Lucknow, he told journalists, “I am not a don, but a politician and so is my brother.”
