Oppn candidates will lose security deposits, says Pathak

LUCKNOW: Confident about the victory of BJP in Ghosi assembly by-election, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Tuesday said opposition candidates would lose their security deposits.

Pathak was in Ghosi to garner support for party candidate Dara Singh Chauhan. The elections are scheduled to take place on September 5.

While presiding over a public meeting in Kurthi Jafarpur, Pathak inducted several Samajwadi Party workers into the saffron camp. SP is pitting its hopes on Sudhakar Singh to bring down Chauhan, who re-joined BJP recently having contested the 2022 assembly polls as SP candidate.
