LUCKNOW: Defence minister Rajnath Singh doesn’t have a personal vehicle. This info came out on Monday when he disclosed his assets in Lucknow to the district electoral officer in an affidavit filed for nomination on Lucknow Lok Sabha seat.
A detailed breakdown of his assets and liabilities revealed that the incumbent Lucknow MP has total assets worth Rs 7.4 crore, comprising movable assets worth Rs 4 crore and immovable assets valued at Rs 3.4 crore. Among his possessions, Singh has declared that he owns a .32 caliber revolver and a double-barrel gun. Furthermore, the Singh couple jointly owns jewellery worth Rs 65 lakh.
The minister has affirmed that he has no criminal cases pending against him and maintains a clean record. Singh holds a postgraduate degree in science and lists his income sources as pension, allowances, salaries, and farming activities.
