'Flag is proof that light of Dharma is immortal': UP CM Yogi Adityanath hails Ram Temple as dawn of Ramrajya under PM Narendra Modi's leadership
AYODHYA: In a speech resonating with spiritual and nationalistic fervor at the Shri Ram temple following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the saffron flag flying over the temple is a proclamation of eternal truth and the triumph of the values of Ramrajya.
He stated, "I have dedicated my life. The divine coincidence of Vivah Panchami is making this festival even more sacred. The flag-hoisting is the declaration of that truth that the light of Dharma is immortal and the values of Ramrajya are timeless."
Yogi Adityanath directly credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the temple's realization. "When the respected Prime Minister took charge of India in 2014, that very day, the sun of possibility, resolve, and faith dawned in the hearts of millions of Indians. Today, that same faith, that same penance, that same wait of countless generations has been materialized through your hands in the form of this grand Ram Temple for all Indians and all Sanatan Dharma followers."
He described the 'Kesari Dhwaj' (saffron flag) as a symbol of dharma, decorum, truth, justice, and national duty. "It is also a symbol of the vision of a developed India asserted. In the last 11 years, we have all seen a changing India with our own eyes. We are witnessing the philosophy of a New India, where a better coordination of heritage and development is taking it to new heights,” he asserted.
The Chief Minister framed this progress as the essence of Ramrajya, citing benefits like ration for 80 crore people, free healthcare for 50 crore, and housing for the poor. "This is the declaration of Ramrajya whose foundation is a developed India," he said.
Reflecting on history, Yogi reminded the gathering of the unwavering faith that endured for 500 years despite changing empires and generations. “Our devotion never bowed, never broke,” he said. The relentless efforts of organizations like the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh kept the dream alive with the resounding pledge: ‘Mandir wahi banayenge.’ Today, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Ayodhya has transformed from a land of struggles into a global capital of celebrations.
He detailed Ayodhya's new infrastructure, modern Ayodhya now boasts world-class connectivity, including the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, and is emerging as India’s first solar city—a sustainable smart city blending spirituality with economic vitality. Pilgrimage routes like Ram Path, Bhakti Path, and the sacred parikramas offer devotees a renewed sense of reverence.
