Factory owner Sunil Kumar Malhotra said, “Woolen kurtis for women are manufactured in the factory. On Thursday around 9pm, we locked the factory and left for home. On Friday around 7.45am, I received a call from neighbours that the factory’s main door lock was broken. I, along with my brother, rushed there and found it ransacked.”
Burglars broke open three almirahs. “They have stolen about Rs 60,000 kept in the almirahs and important documents. They spared a scooter parked in the factory. We have CCTVs in the unit. But while leaving, we turn off the power supply meter to check any possibility of sparking or fire. Therefore, the CCTVs were off.
