Patiala

Media Club on Saturday organized a

blood donation camp

where 41 units of blood were collected. The members of the press club organized the event on National Press Day to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.


Patiala deputy commissioner was the chief guest and the superintendent of police Mandeep Singh Sidhu was the special guest at the event. The SBI GM Subhash marked his presence and applauded the efforts of Patiala Media Club. The event was organized in collaboration with the SBI.

General secretary Rajesh Panjola, cashier Navdeep Dhingra, vice-president Jaspal Singh Dhillon and Khushvir Singh Toor, Sanjay Verma, Yogesh Dhir and other prominent media personalities participated in the

blood donation

camp. The Life Line blood collected 41 units of blood donated by the media persons and other people. Senior journalists and other guests also shared their views on the National Press Day. While speaking on the dias, senior journalist Gagandeep Singh Ahuja said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji could also be seen as the first Punjabi journalist who penned 'Babar vani' that was not less than journalism.
