Thieves strike at telephone exchange and sewa kendra

Ludhiana: Thieves struck at a sewa kendra and BSNL exchange and decamped with articles like electronic devices in Khanna and Jagraon respectively. In the first case, Jagrup Singh of Khanna, in-charge of the sewa kendra in Isru village of Khanna said that on December 29, he locked the centre after work at 5pm and went home. He said that he came back the next day to find that the sewa kendra had been broken into. He said that the missing articles included a 32 inch LED, a window AC, three printers, two scanners, a fingerprint scanner, a monitor, an NVR, two webcams, two CCTV cameras, a hard disk, two TVs, two modems, three bulbs, etc.SDO, BSNL Jagraon, in his complaint to Sadar Jagraon police station said on the intervening night of December 28 and 29, subscriber cards, battery inverter, split AC, underground cable, earth strip etc were stolem from the exchange.
