Railways to run special trains between Tuticorin and Mumbai

MADURAI: Central Railway has announced operating special trains between Tuticorin and Mumbai. According to a statement from the zonal railway, two services will be operated in both directions.

No 01143 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Tuticorin weekly special fare special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 1.15pm on May 26 and June 2 and reach Tuticorin at 11pm the next day.

No 01144 Tuticorin - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus weekly special fare special will leave Tuticorin at 4am on May 28 and June 4 and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 3.40pm the next day.

These trains will stop at Dadar, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburgi, Wadi, Raichur, Guntakal, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Kancheepuram, Chengalpet, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkahi, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Papanasam, Thanjavur, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar and Kovilpatti.
