BJP has no right to criticise Cong guarantee card, says DK DCC prez

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) president K Harish Kumar said that the BJP has no right to criticise the guarantee cards being distributed by the Congress. Kumar told reporters here on Friday, that the BJP will be sidelined after their defeat in the assembly election. “BJP has no right to talk about Congress’ guarantee card. We have seen that the BJP use gods’ names to garner votes before elections, and later speak derogatorily. BJP have so far won elections only through lies. People have realised this fact now. The BJP has become a factory of lies,” Kumar lashed out. The DCC president also demanded the resignation of home minister Araga Jnanendra for his recent remarks on Guliga daiva in Thirthahalli. “Araga Jnanendra’s remarks on Guliga daiva is a testimony to the BJP’s fake Hindutva. Let BJP leaders commence a pilgrimage tour, after completing their Vijaysankalpa Yatra. A development-oriented Congress government will be formed in the state after the election,” said Kumar. He also alleged that transport minister B Sriramulu has been planning to provide permits for private buses on KSRTC routes, as part of a deal. “There are allegations that the deal involves Rs 50 crore kickback,” he alleged.
