Team Hawk grabs fourth place in oral presentation round of SAE Aero Design (East) Contest

MANGALURU: Team Hawk of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management cleared inspection round and grabbed fourth place in oral presentation round in micro class category at the SAE Aero Design (East) competition, Fort Worth, Texas, USA. The team stood in first position in the oral presentation round among Indian teams at the competition. Team HAWK is one among the two teams from Karnataka, with 75 teams from around the world participating in the event.

Team Hawk member comprise of Mohammad Anwar, Tharanath, Gouse Khan M S, Midhun Jyothis, Gerald K Antony, Rajgokul Ganiga P S, Nitin S Prakash, Probid J and Amrutha Khandare who presented their aero design model at the competition. The competition held recently was conducted by NASA and Lockheed Martin. Manjunath Bhandary, chairman of Bhandary Education Foundation congratulated Team Hawk on their success at the event.
