Accused Hitesh Jain wants to give brother power of attorney to run shop

MUMBAI: Hitesh Jain, accused in the murder by slow poisoning of Santacruz businessman Kamalkant Shah, wants to give the power of attorney to his brother to run his gift article business. Police sources said Jain, through his lawyer, moved an application before the court seeking that permission be granted to him to sign that the power of attorney to be given to his brother, Ashok Jain.

Jain said that due to this case, his business in Vile Parle has been affected. Sources said the court has allowed his lawyer to obtain his signature in Arthur Road jail following due process of the law.tnn
