New stretch now operational

The 9.77-km Phase 2A stretch includes Dharavi, Shitaladevi, Dadar West, Siddhivinayak, Worli, and Acharya Atre Chowk stations.
Services begin early
Daily trains run from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm, except on Sundays when they begin at 8.30 am to allow for maintenance.
244 trips daily
Eight trains will run 244 trips daily with an average headway of just over 6 minutes during peak hours.
Fast commute time
It now takes just 15–20 minutes from BKC to Worli, and 36 minutes for the full ride from JVLR Aarey to Acharya Atre Chowk.
Affordable fares
Ticket prices on this stretch range from ₹10 to ₹40, with the full route journey costing ₹60.
Low initial footfall
Commuters noted light crowds on opening day—many people were unaware the new stations were operational.

The new stretch connects commuters to commercial zones and key religious spots like Siddhivinayak and Mahim Dargah.
