Mumbai Metro Line 3’s Aqua Line is now active from BKC to Acharya Atre Chowk, expanding underground connectivity across Mumbai’s core.

Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the BKC-Worli phase and said the Worli–Cuffe Parade leg will open by August.

The 9.77-km Phase 2A stretch includes Dharavi, Shitaladevi, Dadar West, Siddhivinayak, Worli, and Acharya Atre Chowk stations.

Daily trains run from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm, except on Sundays when they begin at 8.30 am to allow for maintenance.

Eight trains will run 244 trips daily with an average headway of just over 6 minutes during peak hours.

It now takes just 15–20 minutes from BKC to Worli, and 36 minutes for the full ride from JVLR Aarey to Acharya Atre Chowk.
