MUMBAI: Encounter specialist police inspector Daya Nayak has been transferred to the city crime branch and posted at its Bandra Unit.

Nayak, who served in the state ATS for three years, will now be working with the crime branch which mainly works to detect serious offences and key cases. He joined the police force as a police sub inspector in 1995.
