Court extends Nawab Malik judicial custody till Friday

MUMBAI: A special court here on Monday extended the judicial custody of state minister

till Friday this week even as the NCP leader complained of ill health.

, designated to hear cases related to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The NCP politician said to the court that he has been keeping unwell because of kidney ailments and was suffering from swelling in his legs.

Malik said that whenever he complained of pain in his legs, the jail authorities merely gave him painkillers. “I want a permanent solution to my medical problems,”
