Mumbai Police registers complaint after key witness in gangster Ejaz Lakdawala case receives threats

MUMBAI: A key witness in the high-profile gangster Ejaz Lakdawala case has reported receiving threatening calls from a person claiming to be from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The caller, identifying himself as "Vijay Sharma," threatened harm to the witness's family.

The victim, Imran, who has had police security since 2020, expressed frustration, noting that police registered FIRs for hoax threats made to Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, while in his case, they only filed an NC.
