MUMBAI: The heavy downpour on Tuesday in Mumbai threw vehicular traffic out of gear. Mumbai Police tweeted updates on waterlogged areas and diversions. Additional police personnel were posted on the streets to guide motorists.

Sion Road witnessed 1.5 feet of waterlogging near Sadhana High School and was closed. Vehicular traffic was diverted through Sion junction, police said.




Slow movement of traffic was reported at Santacruz railway station, Mankhurd railway station and Dadar TT owing to one feet waterlogging. Similarly traffic movement was slow at Tembi Bridge in Chembur and Parel TT due to waterlogging upto 0.5 feet.




At Sakar Panchayat Chowk in Wadala, 1.5 feet of waterlogging impacted traffic movement. Andheri subway was also flooded.
