MUMBAI: To carry out maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment, a rail block of five hours is being undertaken on the Up and Down fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local) station from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm today.
According to a press release issued by WR Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek, during the block period, all fast line trains will operate on slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local).
"Due to this, some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block, and some Churchgate trains will be short-terminated/reversed from Bandra/Dadar station. Detailed information to this effect is available with Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the arrangements," he added.
