NAVI MUMBAI: Two constables attached to APMC police station nabbed an accused near the Line of Control under "adverse conditions".

Ravindra Sanap (28) and Ashok Kachare (45) arrested Sanjeev Kumar Rajput (26) after raiding his house, 5km from the area under the jurisdiction of Nowshera police station in Jammu & Kashmir.

The two took the help of J&K police and Indian Army personnel to trace and raid the accused's hideout.

Rajput was booked three months back by APMC police for cheating Ajit Sharma, son of former police commissioner of Navi Mumbai, A K Sharma.

Sharma, a fruit trader, was cheated of nearly Rs 5 lakh by Rajput, who purchased a pomegranate consignment from him and then went absconding without paying for it.
