NEW DELHI: The Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) installed posters in Mumbai on Thursday praising the Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following Operation Sindoor, a joint military operation where indian armed forces targeted nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22.
The posters were displayed near Dadar Station in Mumbai.
Several major cities across northern India have been placed on high alert following the military operation. Amritsar Airport has been closed indefinitely as part of enhanced security measures.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju announced this development on his official 'X' handle. Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will attend the meeting.
The Indian Armed Forces provided details about Operation Sindoor during a media briefing conducted by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Col Sophiya Qureshi.
Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated that Operation Sindoor was initiated to deliver justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and their families. She confirmed that nine terror sites were targeted during the operation.
Col Sofiya Qureshi presented video evidence during the press briefing, showing precision strikes on terror camps, including targets in Muridke.
