minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh, a court on Wednesday said there is substance in their submissions that “some political intervention” occurred in the case against them for making statements on the death of Disha Salian, a talent manager for Sushant Singh Rajput.
The court said it failed to understand how defamation charge was invoked. If further said the fact that they were interrogated for a considerable time and a special prosecutor was appointed depicted the “unprecedented manner” in which official machinery dealt with the case.
