MUMBAI: Vibgyor High School (Malad East) won two out of four age groups as the Reliance Foundation Junior NBA reached city to make the 5th stop for the Junior NBA National Championship.
In the under-14 boys’ final, Vibgyor defeated St Josephs (Wadala) 13-12 while Gokuldam High School (Goregaon East) beat Auxilium Convent High School (Wadala) 7-6 in a close finish in the girls’ final.
Don Bosco (Matunga) put it across the Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania (Thane) 18-10 to win the under-12 boys crown while Vibgyor clinched a thriller against St Anthony’s (Byculla) 6-5 to win the girls’ title.
Hosts KSA winHosts Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) beat PJ Hindu Gymkhana on the first innings lead in a ‘A’ Division second round match of the 76th Dr. HD Kanga League on Sunday.
