Hanuman Jayanti celebrated with decorated mantaps

Madikeri: Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated in a grand manner with decorated mantaps on Tuesday night in Kushalnagar. Along with the 40th Hanuman Jayanti programme, which was held under the auspices of Sri Ramanjaneya Utsav Samiti, Temple Seva Trust, and Sri Anjaneya Seva Samiti, a total of 8 mantaps attracted thousands of devotees.800 police personnel, including four inspectors and 15 sub-inspectors, alongside four district armed units and four contingents from the KSRP, managed the security. Cops diverted vehicular traffic on an alternative route outside the town for the smooth conduct of the festivities.A total of 8 mantaps from various places arrived at the Ganapati Temple in Kushalnagar and captivated the hearts of the devotees. MLA Manthar Gowda and former MLA Appachu Ranjan participated in the puja.
