Mysuru: Various right-wing organizations, led by MP Prathap Simha, staged a protest against the government for allegedly failing to arrest the miscreants who had killed RSS worker K Raju in March this year.

The members of pro-Hindu organizations like BJP, Mysuru Rakshana Vedike, Sriram Sene, Veer Savarkar Yuva Balaga, Bajarangi Yuva Sene, Hindu Jagarana Vedike and others participated in the dharna in front of the Basaveshwara statue near Gun House.

Raju's mother Chandramma said that the government had promised to arrest the murderers of her son. "But it has failed to arrest them even after 100 days of the incident. The government should immediately arrest the murderers," she added. Raju was murdered at Udayagiri here on March 13.

Pro-Hindu Organisation Forum convener M K Prem Kumar said that police have booked a dacoity case against an activist who participated in the procession carrying Raju's body near Devaraja Market. "But they have left those who murdered or targeted Hindu activists," he claimed.

Former minister S A Ramdas, BJP city unit president B H Manjunath, rural president Shivanna, leader H V Rajeev, MLC C H Vijayashankar and others were present.
