Diversions in place for Nashik road works

Nashik: The city traffic branch on Thursday announced there will be no movement of vehicles on the roads between Seva Kunj and Gajanan Chowk for 60 days and from Amardham to Shivaji Chowk for 90 days.
Deputy commissioner of police Chandrakant Khandvi said the work of concerting the roads is being carried out in these areas due to which movement of vehicles will be banned.
The Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation Limited (NMSCDCL) is concreting the road from Seva Kunj to Gajanan Chowk — a 450 meter stretch.
Similar work is being carried out on the road between Amardham and Shivaji Chowk falling under the Bhadrakali police station.
In the case of Seva Kunj to Gajanank Chowk road, motorists can use the parallel roads on the east and west sides for commuting in either direction.
The police have also announced no parking on the road until the work is complete. The work is to be completed in a span of 60 days,
Similarly, only one-way traffic from Amardham to Shivaji Chowk will be allowed.
Traffic movement from Shivaji Chowk to Amardham will remain restricted for three months. The section of road will be barricaded, and the contractor will appoint two traffic wardens until the work is finished.
