Man arrested for sexually exploiting woman

Nashik: The Satpur police in Nashik on Friday night arrested man Ravindra Erande (63) for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman after promising to secure a job for her son. Satpur police officials said that Erande had registered a complaint with the Satpur police station alleging that some suspects were seeking ransom of Rs 12 lakh, threatening him to leak the private photos that were stored in his stolen tablet. "We arrested the four suspects. But the search of electronic devices uncovered 121 obscene video clips featuring various women and friends of the complainant," said a senior officer from Satpur police station."A woman has come forth to register a complaint against Erande where she has alleged that Erande repeatedly sexually exploited her under the pretext of securing a govt job for her son that was never delivered," the officer added.The women who belongs to Scheduled Caste, was taken to various hotels in Nashik and Igatpuri where he exploited her. "An FIR was registered against Erande under Section 69 (sexual intercourse obtained through deceitful means) and 77 (voyeurism), IT Act Section 67(A), and sections of the Atrocities Act.
