MP and MLA show support for protesters

NAVI MUMBAI: Ratnagiri MP Vinayak Raut and MLA Vaibhav Naik met protestors at Barsu on Wednesday. Raut, Naik and their supporters were stopped for 15 minutes at the Rajapur checkpost. Later, they were allowed to proceed and meet the protesting villagers.


Raut who belongs to Shiv Sena (UBT) said, "We have decided not to allow the refinery to be set up here. Only those who have led the protests will participate in the discussion with experts to be held on Thursday."
