As the JD (U) member was not ready to apologize, the BJP members trooped into the well and began shouting slogans. The Speaker adjourned the House for 10 minutes and convened a meeting of the business advisory committee (BAS) to restore normalcy.

At the BAS meeting, Prem insisted on Sada's apology. But the Speaker reportedly said since the objectionable remarks had been expunged from the proceedings, there was no need to linger the matter further. After the BAS meeting, the Speaker resumed the House proceedings, but the BJP members decided to stay away.

"The offending remarks by Sada is not a solitary case of ruling grand alliance members' using highly objectionable words for BJP seniors during debates. It has become their habit to make insulting remarks against the opposition members. A few days ago, RJD member Shambhu Yadav openly threatened to teach lesson to a BJP member in the assembly," Prem Kumar told TOI.
