PATNA: State's chief secretary Amir Subhani was admitted to a private hospital Thursday night after feeling uneasy post a bad fall in the bathroom accompanied by fever. Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday visited the hospital on Friday and took stock of Subhani's health condition.

Sources said dengue has not been detected.Hospital official Dr Vikram Singh Chauhan said the chief secretary's health has improved and he is stable. "He had fever for the past three days and on Thursday morning he had head injury after falling down, following which he started feeling uncomfortable. He was admitted Thursday night. Minor trauma has been detected in the CT Scan," Dr Chauhan stated in a written statement.

He further said a multidisciplinary doctors' team comprising the director and head of neurosurgery and neurointervention, Dr Ambuj Kumar, surgery department director Dr AA Hai and several others, was looking after Subhani. Sources said Subhani, who was suffering from fever, had a bad fall in the bathroom at his residence.
