PATNA:
Bihar School Examination Board (
BSEB) will start the evaluation of answer sheets of Intermediate examination from February 26 and of
Matriculation
from March 5. Altogether 133 evaluation centres have been made across the state, including 10 in
Patna
district.
The centre coordinators and the evaluators have been directed to complete the evaluation of class
XII
board exam answer sheets and feed the marks in the computer system by March 8, so that the results will be announced in record time. The checking of class X answer sheets is likely to conclude by March 17.
Altogether 15,000 teachers will be engaged in the evaluation of copies of class XII. According to the Board officials, subject-wise and stream-wise (science, commerce and arts) assessment centres have been set up and the process has begun to send the answer sheets to the centres. Six computer systems have been installed at each evaluation centre. The computer operators have to upload the marks. For this, the Board has developed its own software. A training session of computers operators was held across the state on Sunday.
Bihar board examination question papers comprise 50% objective questions. The evaluation of OMR sheets will be done by scanner and subjective answers are to be evaluated separately. Section 144 would be imposed in a radius of 200 metres of the evaluation centres. Evaluation of answer copies will be done under

camera surveillance.
