Patna: A man was arrested along with his son and another individual on Thursday in connection with a involving his brother in Sammaspur village under area in on Wednesday night. Police recovered an illegal country-made pistol, two live cartridges, a licensed rifle, 56 additional live cartridges and an air gun.
The incident occurred late on Wednesday night when a long-standing family feud between accused Tipu Singh, alias Amit Kumar, and his brother Amar Singh escalated into violence. During altercation, people on Tipu’s side opened fire, injuring Rupesh Kumar and Vishal Kumar on Amar’s side. The victims are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The police have started an investigation into the incident.
Fatuha subdivisional police officer Awadhesh Kumar said the arrested individuals included Tipu’s son Akash Kumar, alias Honey, and Bablu Singh, both residents of Sammaspur. Another suspect, Lallu Kumar, alias Amrit, remains at large, with police conducting raids to apprehend him, he said.
