It all began when Singh, while speaking to the media, compared Kishor with sewer water. The RJD leader said, “Sewer water is not used at home or in the kitchen.”

Soon after, Tej, who recently posted pictures of him milking a cow, said Kishor welcome to join RJD if he wished to do so. He also cautioned Singh against unparliamentarily language against the former JD (U) leader. He remarked, “He (Jagdanand) is my uncle and a fatherly figure. Hence, I will advise him to work towards strengthening the party rather than publicly abusing someone. This is against Lalu ji’s ideology.”

Asked if his party is divided over Kishor, Tej said, “Jagdanand’s thinking cannot be compared to mine. One thing is certain that my thoughts are similar to those of Lalu ji’s. I follow Lalu ji’s ideology.”

Tej used the occasion to lash out at chief minister Nitish Kumar for “misusing and dumping Kishor”. He said, “He (Nitish) is in the habit of using people and then throwing them out. This is his policy.”

Bihar Congress chief Madan Mohan Jha indicated that his party was not averse to associating with Kishor. This can happen if the party high command wishes, he added.

Currently, I-PAC has a fully functional office in Patna.
