Madhubani administration takes steps to ease traffic congestion near railway station

Madhubani: District administration has intensified efforts to ease traffic congestion on the stretch from Madhubani railway station chowk (near Bajrangbali Temple) to 13 no. railway gumti. This has not only caused hardship but also heightened the risk of road accidents.

According to a press release issued on Monday, DM Anand Sharma had earlier written to the Railway authorities seeking urgent intervention. In response, officials of the East Central Railway’s Samastipur division informed the district administration that a detailed site survey has been completed and a comprehensive estimate for repair and reconstruction of the railway-owned road has been prepared. The proposal has been sent to the competent authority for approval, and work is expected to commence soon after administrative clearance.

The DM assured full cooperation from the district administration to ensure swift resolution of the problem, aiming to provide much-needed relief to citizens and make movement safer and more efficient.
