Medical aspirant from Gaya dies by suicide in city

Patna: A medical aspirant, Aryan Raj (18) nicknamed Kittu, died by suicide in his rented accommodation at Jai Villa in southern Shivpuri under Shastri Nagar police station area of the state capital late on Sunday night. Aryan was preparing for NEET while pursuing his intermediate studies and was living with his cousin in the room.He hailed from Manpur locality under Mufassil police station area of Gaya district. He was the eldest son of businessman Ajit Kumar and is survived by his younger brother and elder sister.Police recovered a suicide note from his room which read: "Mummy and Papa, don't trouble Didi, and Chiku. Let them both do what they want. Also tell uncle not to pressurise them. Both of you stay happy. Your Kitu."SHO of Shastri Nagar police station, Amar Kumar, said they received information about the incident from Aryan's cousin. An FSL team visited the spot for investigation."The body was sent for postmortem after it was brought down from a ceiling fan. Police registered an unnatural death case based on the family's application. Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident," he said.
