MP dy CM visits health department’s command and control centre
Patna: Madhya Pradesh deputy CM and health and medical education minister Rajendra Shukla visited the Bihar health department’s Command and Control Centre (CCC) on Wednesday to study its digital health systems.
Shukla was accompanied by MP health commissioner Dhanraju S and other senior officials. On arrival, state health minister Nishant Kumar, alongside officials, welcomed the visiting delegation, while health department secretary Kumar Ravi gave a detailed presentation on the state’s digital health services and technical platforms.
Officials briefed the MP delegation on the functioning of the Bhavya Portal, which Shukla examined closely during the visit. The portal was presented as a key tool for improving transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in the delivery of public health services. Bihar officials said the platform has helped streamline hospital processes and enhance citizen access to services.
The delegation was also informed about the statewide hospital monitoring system operated through the CCC. Presentations covered the live surveillance system, grievance redressal mechanism, and other components of Bihar’s health digitisation framework.
The visit highlighted growing interest in Bihar’s technology-driven health governance model, as states look to strengthen public healthcare delivery through digital systems. Officials said the CCC has become central to monitoring hospital performance and ensuring quicker administrative response.
Shukla appreciated the department’s efforts to strengthen healthcare services through technology. The health minister said, “The goal is to provide better, faster, and more transparent health services to citizens, as the system is being continuously upgraded to improve service delivery across the state.”
