Paras calls BJP's seat-sharing deal with Chirag 'injustice', hints at exiting NDA

PATNA: Bristling over nephew Chirag Paswan's LJP (Ram Vilas) purported five-seat deal in Bihar with BJP, Union minister PashupatiParas on Friday called it "injustice" and almost sounded the bugle of revolt against BJP by asserting he will contest from his Hajipur constituency and his other MPs from their 2019 seats.

However, Paras appeared to leave wriggle room when he said his Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party would wait for announcement of NDA candidates in Bihar before taking a decision.

BJP's reported deal with LJP (Ram Vilas) includes Hajipur, the family bastion and bone of contention between uncle & nephew. Paras issued the warning after BJP was learnt to have "addressed" all concerns of Chirag. "NDA should have taken into consideration our party's existing seats. This is against coalition dharma."
