Patna hotels come alive with New Year eve celebrations

Patna: As the clock struck midnight, city residents bid adieu to 2024 and welcomed 2025 with grand celebrations, cheers and excitement in the air. People flocked to various hotels, clubs and restaurants and celebrated till late night on Tuesday.Joined by friends and family, enjoying delicious food, music and dance, they celebrated the day in style. Several top hotels in the state capital organised special New Year eve parties, which dazzled with DJ music, live performances, and sumptuous food. The hotels were decked up with colourful decorations, balloons, and flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere.The revellers cheered and hugged each other, welcoming the New Year with joy and optimism. The celebrations continued till the wee hours, with people dancing, singing, and enjoying themselves.The police and district administration made elaborate arrangements to ensure the safety and security of the revellers. Additional police personnel were deployed at all major hotels and restaurants, and traffic restrictions were put in place to prevent road congestion.A prominent hotel of the city hosted a celebration at its restaurant, featuring Chaitali Band, singer Komal Singh, and a dance group from Mumbai. The event featured a variety of food items, with entry fees starting from Rs 4,500 for children, Rs 5,500 for singles, and Rs 9,000 for couples. "We had a fantastic time celebrating the New Year at the hotel. The music, food and ambiance were brilliant. It was a great way to ring in the New Year with friends and family," said Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Patel Nagar.Another prominent hotel on Exhibition Road, hosted a casino night-themed party, featuring Bollywood actress Lekha Prajapati, Western fusion dance, belly dance and ‘mujra' performances. The event also included unlimited food and mocktails.People also joined a musical evening at a hotel in Khajpura on Nehru Path, that featured Bollywood singer Anita Bhatt, ‘Dance India Dance' winner Raj Smita, and other performers from Mumbai. The event featured over 100 food items. "It was a great evening for us. I attended the musical night with my wife and children. The cuisines were delicious," said Laxmikant Sinha, a resident of Rajendra Nagar.Another musical evening was organised at a hotel located near Gandhi Maidan. Murshid Dee band, a dance group from Mumbai, and singers from Kolkata and Varanasi blazed the evening with high energy. A large number of people celebrated the occasion till midnight.A mall also hosted the New Year's eve at its hotel, featuring singers and dancers from Kolkata and Mumbai, and an anchor from Goa. The event also had a variety of food items, with music and dance.Other restaurants in the city also hosted New Year eve parties, offering special menus and discounts to customers. The restaurants were packed with people of all ages, enjoying the music, food and company of their loved ones.
