pregnant woman

, gave birth to a girl at Bhagalpur Sadar hospital on Wednesday after experiencing labour pain while writing her Intermediate exam.
According to sources,
Rupa was writing the language paper at Sukhraj Roy High School in Nathnagar block of Bhagalpur district when she complained of severe labour pain around 3.30pm.
The centre superintendent and other officials convened an emergency meeting and informed the SDM and the civil surgeon of the situation. They enquired as to whether they could arrange for an ambulance to transport Rupa to the Sadar hospital. They also informed the woman’s family members about the health emergency.

Umesh Sharma told this newspaper on Thursday that they had prepared a labour room for the examinee after receiving emergency calls from education department and district administration officials. “She was immediately admitted to the labour room and received prompt access to all available healthcare services. She delivered a healthy baby,” he added.
District education officer
Sanjay Kumar stated that they acted immediately upon receiving information about Rupa. He continued, “We recommend her to undergo a special test in June due to her inability to complete her exam.”
Meanwhile, Rupa’s family members distributed sweets to health workers and school staff in appreciation of their cooperation and unexpected actions to save her and the newborn baby.
