Guinness record holders felicitated at Pondicherry University

CHENNAI: Alumni of Pondicherry University, who recently set a Guinness World record, were felicitated at the varsity's management fest Akansha 2023.

GV Dheleepan and Adamsonraj, who studied tourism, hold the record for the longest journey by scheduled public transport in a single country.

The duo, who achieved the landmark crossing 35,614 km across India from February 2021 to August 2021, received the honour from Puducherry tourism minister K Lakshminarayanan at the fest held on Monday.

Apart from this, a beach clean-up drive was organized by the university in collaboration with Swachatha Corporation, Puducherry.
