Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad police officers transferred in statewide reshuffle
Pune: In a statewide shuffle on Friday, joint commissioner of police Ranjan Kumar Sharma has been transferred as special inspector general of police, Kolhapur region. He was replaced by Sanjay Darade, the special IG of Konkan region.
Deputy commissioner of police Sambhaji Kadam has been transferred as the superintendent of police at CID, while DCP Himmat Jadhav will go to Mumbai police. DCP Shivaji Pawar of the Pimpri Chinchwad police has been transferred to Mumbai police, and DCP Vishal Gaikwad has been transferred as additional superintedent of police at GRP, Pune. Also, DCP Sanjay Sargonda Patil, DCP Rohidas Pawar and DCP Dhiraj Patil have been transferred to Pimpri Chinchwad police. DCP P R Patil and DCP Gauhar Hasan have been transferred to the Pune city police.
DSP Shubham Kumar of Amravati Rural police has been promoted to additional superintendent of police in Pune Rural police.
